THE SECOND PUBLIC TRAINING
The training organized by the European project APACHE and by the Fondazione CCR “La Venaria Reale” aims to explore the consortium activities, to spread knowledge generated during the development of the project within academic, professional, potential users and industrial domains in addition to upskill key stakeholders and staff on the use of the novel materials/tools/solutions applied to the preventive conservation of cultural heritage.

THE TRAINING FOCUSES ON THREE ESSENTIAL SECTIONS:
WORKSHOP
Five practical workshops around the application methodologies and the use of some developed technologies.
PRESENTATIONS
Lectures and presentations on the theoretical, research and implementation aspects of the novel materials and solutions.
OPEN DEBATE
A final open debate about the new materials, feedback and sharing of experience after the practical activities.
Programme
FIRST DAY
The program includes a day of theoretical presentations, which will take place at the Fondazione CCR La Venaria Reale Auditorium on Thursday, December 2 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Due to sanitary restrictions, the capacity of the auditorium is 100 seats. Please note that the presentations will take place on-site and online. Presentations will be in English, with on-site simultaneous translation from English to Italian.
SECOND DAY
The second day will include practical activities and demonstrations of products developed by APACHE’s partners: preventive conservation equipment and decision-making software for the preservation of collections. These workshops will have a capacity of 15 participants each. Five workshops will take place in parallel throughout the day, each participant having the opportunity to register for three of them from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please note that the practical activities will take place only on-site. A closing discussion will complete the training program.
